Lunch/Recess Blocks: It is important that teachers use every minute of instruction time prior to release for lunch and recess.  Teacher’s who need to release children on a timeframe that does not match the Daily Schedule; must first gain prior approval from administration.  If you have a challenge with timing due to a problem with your classroom clock please notify the office immediately and we will place a work order.  Otherwise, it is a teacher’s professional responsibility to keep track of the Daily Schedule requirements.

Passing Time: This block is included in our yearly instructional minute’s calculations.  It is utilized to provide enough time for teachers to pick up students and to transfer them back into classrooms.  This block may not be used to extend a teacher’s lunch or recess break.
